Divine principle is the very core of man. Becoming aware of this Truth, our institution relies on Multi-faith prayer and Universal prayer. On Fridays, Religious classes are conducted respectively for Hindu, Muslim and Christian students to nurture the students with human values, thereby the institution provides a holistic kind of education to students.
The college emblem symbolizes the three important characteristics, rather values to be achieved by one and all in life.
The Swan in the emblem stands for ‘Purity’. Purity in every walk of life, Purity of purpose and Purity of means will raise the students to the height of glory through constant perseverance and sincerity. The pure white Swan separates the milk from the water by its skill as it has the purity of purpose. The Sthambha-Kambam in the middle symbolizes the height of glory which can be achieved only by ‘Perseverance’.
The Kamadhenu represents ‘Prosperity’, the abundance in life which is the goal of every human being. Our aim is to train the students inculcate these values along with curricular studies to make them Honest, Hard working, Prosperous and useful citizens.
Tradition and Heritage Practices
The very purpose and main function of education is the development of an all round and well-balanced personality of the students, and also to develop all dimensions of the human intellect so that our student can help make our nation more democratic, cohesive, socially responsible, culturally rich and intellectually competitive nation.
Accordingly, the institute ever focuses on inculcating traditional and heritage values within students since furthermore run by Sri Adichunchanagiri Mutt. Thus, integrates the practices of traditional attire on Fridays, Regular Poojas at Siddhi Vinayaga temple located inside the premises, doing Ko-pooja as a means of respecting all beings, and celebrating all religious festivals like Pongal, Ramzan and Christmas; besides, the institute encourages the students to take part in Vivekananda exams.
On Mondays and Fridays common assembly is conducted. It is attended by all not only to observe mass prayer but also for dissemination of campus news, honouring the prize winners and to share the most important current matters and ‘Thought for the Week’.
Thought for the week sets standards in moral & ethical behavior of students to emulate them to be scrupulously honest; and delivery of Current news by the teachers embosses the quality of realizing the social responsibilities.
